Philatelic sheet from Mali, an inland state of West Africa. Issue dated 30/06/2000 celebrating the World Championships in Japan and Korea of 2002. The specimen comprises four stamps of the value of 320 CFA Francs BCEAO each. On one of them Paolo Rossi is depicted in profile in a blue jersey and in action with the World Cup next to him. They are three other stamps dedicated to Jairzinho, Franz Beckenbauer and Mario Kempes, all Champions World Champions, along with the Tuscan star, in various editions of the competition. The frame of the piece is highly original and of rare delicacy. They are represented some of the faunistic and flora typical of Mali, with a satellite probe in the background satellite probe that seems to ideally connect the sports personalities listed.
